Scalable Colocation Space

Choose from a wide range of highly secure colocation solutions to accommodate your equipment and meet your data center space requirements, including:

Our data center space is flexible and can be altered to suit any need. You can also use our existing individual cabinet enclosures or provide your own to minimize cost. With solutions for any sized requirement, you can get the one that's right for you and your business.

We also offer business class services such as bandwidth monitoring, port information, host monitoring, remote console, security scans, and remote hands.

Data Center Power

Due to the growth in data center power consumption, customers look to us to provide expertise and insight regarding all aspects of power delivery and management. Our expert staff and engineers have designed our power systems with built-in redundancy, full Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems with up to N+1 levels or greater, and backup generator systems in the event of a local utility failure.

Our teams work with you to solve your business needs before installation and to also accommodate any specific high-power requirements. All power and back-up systems are tested regularly to ensure the infrastructure and procedures perform as designed.

As a customer, you have the ability to remotely monitor the critical systems supporting your installation — which is all backed up by LinkAdvantage's 100% Service Level Agreement (SLA).

N+1 options are available in a variety of voltage and amperage configurations designed to suit your budget and the critical nature of your application.

High Density Data Center Power

You can receive up to 20 KW of usable datacenter power per cabinet.  This would be the equivalent of four (4) 208V-30A power circuits. The redundant (B side) power circuits are not included is this total usable power calculation.

Fully Redundant Data Center Power

Several Transient Voltage Surge Suppression (TVSS) devices are installed on major electrical panels and remove spikes prior to being seen by the UPS, where the wave form is stabilized. The UPS systems correct utility power to a stable wave former through double-conversion, and include a 7-minute battery back-up to transition to the generator system.

Power is distributed from the UPS through K-rated transformers to local panel distribution panels and branched to computer cabinets. Computer cabinets are installed with IP-addressable power strips containing ampacity meters. This information is viewable at any time on your individual Colo Control Panel.

LinkAdvantage provides AC power in a variety of voltage and amperage configurations. The system includes a back-up using an Automatic Transfer Switch connected to a stand-by diesel generator. The system is designed to transition to generator back-up in 15 seconds whenever an under-voltage or over-voltage condition persists. Back-by power is sustained and not restored until the utility supply is stable and consistent.

Data Center Cooling

Our data centers feature N+1 design for densities of over 175 watts per square foot. LinkAdvantage implements best practices and state of the art data center cooling technologies to ensure sound operational practice and stable environmental conditions for your equipment.

Features of datacenter cooling infrastructure:

  • Designed, engineered and operated based on industry best practices
  • Air-side economization on all air handlers for optimal cooling efficiency
  • Hot isle, cold isle cooling configuration throughout the datacenter
  • 36 inch deep cabinets allow for better air flow and cable management
  • Blanking panels used in open RU spaces to prevent bypass air and hot air recirculation

Higher than standard power/heat densities requirements are met with cold and/or hot air containment solutions.

Climate Control

The climate is controlled by multiple 80 ton, chiller water air handlers. All air handlers and chilled water piping are outside of the datacenter. The chillers, cooling towers and piping are all fully redundant systems (at least N+1). The temperature and humidity are continuously monitored.

LinkAdvantage datacenters have several temperature and humidity sensors distributed in each colocation room to ensure that environmental conditions are appropriate and stable.

Carrier Neutral Network

LinkAdvantage offers several network providers to meet any demanding network requirements you may have.

LinkAdvantage ensures you are equipped with the physical and network security you need to safely and reliably run your business. In addition, a SSAE 16 Type II Audit confirms LinkAdvantage’s control objectives, which are based on “Industry Best Practices,” have been tested and reviewed by an independent certified public accounting firm to ensure operational procedures, security, controls, and processes are operating effectively to safeguard and protect your data and equipment.

Physical Data Center Security

LinkAdvantage takes a very stringent approach to physical data center security. We insist on rock solid security at all data center locations.

Each facility has up to 5 levels of physical and electronic systems working 24/7 to protect your equipment, including around-the-clock monitored closed circuit televisions, on-site support and security teams, biometrics security systems and/or military-grade key cards, and various alarms and sensors tied to fire and police departments.

  • You get 24x7x365 security monitoring and the peace of mind that comes from knowing LinkAdvantage has strict data center security protocols enabling only authorized personnel near your equipment.
  • You set the security clearance for all personnel and you establish the "escalation" protocol based on your requirements. LinkAdvantage has proven procedures for instantaneous denial of access to any customer personnel should their security clearance be changed.
  • You know your data center is monitored 24/7 with all internal and external areas covered by DVR for additional data center security and safety.
  • You can rely on LinkAdvantage's processes because a SSAE 16 audit confirmed LinkAdvantage had its control objectives tested and reviewed by an independent CPA firm to ensure operational procedures, security, controls, and processes are operating effectively to safeguard and protect your data and equipment.

Data center security is taken very seriously. LinkAdvantage's solutions are designed and deployed to allow customers to focus on their core business instead of being distracted by escalating security threats and evolving compliance requirements.

The SSAE 16 (SOC 1 Type II) audit is designed to provide LinkAdvantage customers with a level of assurance of corporate controls and has replaced existing SAS 70 audit reports. The Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements (SSAE) No. 16 addresses a service organization's, such as a data center, internal controls. Issued by the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts (AICPA), it is considered the authoritative guidance standard for service organizations.

LinkAdvantage had previously completed the PCI Compliance and SAS70 Type II audit and updated its standing by engaging in these more rigorous and in-depth audits conducted by an internationally recognized auditing firm. LinkAdvantage's facilities strictly follow internal controls the company developed for data center management services.

SSAE 16 effectively replaces SAS 70 as the authoritative guidance for reporting on service organizations — and is the recognized mark of IT service quality. The SSAE 16 Type I and II certification under SSAE 16 designates that LinkAdvantage delivers reliable and secure operating environments with the proper controls for conducting high-availability data center operations. LinkAdvantage's SSAE 16 Type II audit included LinkAdvantage's full description of systems at its data centers, including technical design and strictly implemented operational and safety controls. An internationally recognized auditing firm has backed this SSAE 16 document with a corresponding opinion letter, effectively agreeing with, and providing its stamp of approval for, the controls that LinkAdvantage developed and strictly follows.

The audit report, produced after a rigorous independent examination of LinkAdvantage's internal controls and processes, demonstrates the reliability, security and operational excellence of LinkAdvantage's data center technology for its customers. LinkAdvantage's SSAE 16 Type II report scope focuses on procedures performed by LinkAdvantage, which are likely to be relevant to its customers' internal controls over financial reporting. The report is intended for use by LinkAdvantage's customers and their auditors.
